Establishment of Special Diseases & Transplant Sports Federation of

 Islamic Republic of IRAN

This federation has been established for the all diseased that suffer from long-term kidney inaudibility (DIALYSIS), Transplanted (i.e. Kidney, Heart, lung and liver), Thalassaemia, Hemophilia, Diabetics, MS and Cancer which all these diseases called special diseases in Iran to provoke and encourage them to have a better life and hope to future and also using all of services under supervision of Physical Education Organization and Iran National Olympic Committee.

This Federation is responsible to holding all Competitions, Seminars and Celebrations in State, city and section levels and also formation of national teams to present in international events especially in transplanted and now is one of the main members of World Transplant Games Federation (WTGF).

The National teams of both Male and Female take part from 1997 to 2007 in 5 World transplant Competitions and until now can got 46 world medals as follow: 17 Gold, 19 Silver, and 10 Bronze. The sport fields are: Track and Field (100, 200, 400, 800, 4x100, and 4 x 400 m, Shoot Put and ball throw), Bowling, Ping-Pong, air-gun Shooting, Badminton and Swimming.

Transplant sports has a special place in this federation and the number of its players now is increasing and we hope all of transplanted in whole world basically in Iran participate in all sport competitions and by sport, take part in events and setting the physicians programs, continue successfully to their natural life without any pain.
